Winter Wonderland

Like many of you I am sat in my Kitchen  admiring the beautifully unspoilt snow that fell last night and thinking how lovely it has been to have had a proper white Christmas for once – I think the adults in our house have been more excited than the children.

As we plan a sledging trip this afternoon the novelty still hasn’t worn off and my Husband Greg is waxing lyrical about how fantastic it is and how miserable people are when when they want the snow to melt.  I nod enthusiastically but deep down I must confess that deep down I am hiding a little bit of dread.  Snow is fantastic in the holidays – but trips to school or work in the sludge and the slow moving traffic aswell as delayed trains, buses and planes just do not make real life very easy – and like it or not January heralds the time to stop larking around and get back to normallity.  So whilst I still love the snow and have loved every minute of having it – when I am delayed at Gatwick airport on Tuesday I might not feel quite so enthusiastic!  Lots of love Tori
